Arvigo® Maya Abdominal Therapy:

The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy® are founded on the ancient Mayan technique of abdominal massage which is an external non-invasive manipulation that repositions internal organs that have shifted, thereby restricting the flow of blood, lymph, nerve and chi.  The work is best known for the correction of the prolapsed, fallen, or tilted uterus, PMS symptoms such as cramping, bloating and mennorhagia and infertility. Old adhesions from invasive treatments to the pelvic and abdominal area, including fibroid tumors, endometriosis, and cesarean delivery are diminished when addressed by uterine massage. In addition, digestion, urinary and bladder problems can be helped.

It is strongly encouraged that all Arvigo® clients be seen at a Naturopathic visit especially if looking for infertility support, PCOS, or endometriosis work.  Often times lab work and supplementation is needed in addition to the hands-on work or you will see little results with just the Arvigo® work.

Initial visit: 90 minutes $165.00

Follow up: 60 minutes $125.00

Prenatal Massage:

Therapeutic massage during pregnancy has many wonderful benefits!  It encourages a relaxed state for Mom which will be passed on to baby.  This can begin a lifelong understanding of how to relax.  It assists with fluid movement out of the extremities and relieves muscle aches and pains from pregnancy and life.  Essential oils that are safe during pregnancy can also be added for no extra charge.

Why every Mother should be treated by a Mother Massage® therapist:

Mother Massage® is an additional training that licensed massage therapists can take to continue their education.  All massage schools teach basic prenatal massage but this is far from being sufficient to consider oneself a specialist.  This training and subsequent certification upon completion and passing an exam, provide the therapist with extensive tools to relieve common and uncommon prenatal concerns.  Mother Massage® therapists are dutifully taught how to evaluate for signs of when it would not be advisable for her to proceed with the massage and when it is perfectly ok to proceed.  We provide massage support prenatally, labor support and postpartum massage.
